Chocolate Cake, Peanut Butter Icing, with Butter Finger Crumb topping, HOLY COW !!
*Step 1 ~ Bake Chocolate Cakes according to package directions, set aside & cool...I used an 8inch cake pan and my favorite chocolate cake recipe from the back of the Hershey's unsweetened cocoa box., ahhmazing !!
*Step 2~ Make Peanut Butter Icing <recipe below> next, crush Butter Finger candy bars in the food processor until they are crumbled.
*Step 3~ Once the Cake has cooled, place on Cake plate. Icing the first layer of your cake, then add some butter finger crumbs on top of icing. Next add the top cake layer and finish icing your cake & place your butter finger crumbs on top layer. Next, I used wilton tip #21 to decorate the bottom & top borders.
Peanut Butter Icing
*1 stick of butter, softened
*1c of creamy Peanut Butter
*1tsp of vanilla
*6 c 10x powdered sugar
*Cream the butters together with your mixer until blended well.. add the vanilla and 1 c of sugar at a time until icing is smooth & creamy.
